The Title page of the manuscript (manuscript) should contain short, specific and informative Title, Authors names and their full addresses, Name of the corresponding author, E-mail id, Abstract of not more than 250 words, Keywords of not more than five words.
Consecutive pages:
The title page should be followed by Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results,

DOI no. of all the References (wherever possible/available) should also be mentioned. All the tables/figures/histogramanuscript/ photographs should be consecutively numbered with a brief caption below and should be in separate files or on separate pages. The illustrations should be of good quality. All references cited in the text should be listed at the end of the manuscript alphabetically in the following style:
REFERENCE CITATIONS IN TEXT
For single author
Cite last name every time the reference appears in the text. For example: (Chopra, 2019) or Chopra (2019)
For two authors
Cite both names every time the reference appears in the text. For example: (Chopra and Sharma, 2019) or Chopra and Sharma (2019)
For more than two authors
Cite the last name followed by et al. in italic. For example: (Chopra et al., 2019) or Chopra et al. (2019)
Citing authors with multiple works from one year
Cite the multiple works with a, b, c and so on. Assign these letters within the reference list also, which is sorted alphabetically by the surname of the first author. For example: (Chopra, 2017a,b,c) or Chopra, (2017a,b,c)
If these works are by the same author, cite the surname once followed by the years in chronological order. For example: (Sharma, 2007, 2013, 2017) or Sharma (2007, 2013, 2017)
No author
If there is a title of a book, periodical, brochure or report, it should be italicised. For example: (A guide to citation, 2017).

Cite the full name of the group. For example: (Food and Agriculture Organization, 2017) or Food and Agriculture Organization (2017)
Citing an entire website
When you refer to a website in your text without quoting or paraphrasing from a specific part of it, you do not need a formal citation. Use the same format as you use for print, with a URL added at the end. For example: www.journal.ansfoundation.org or (www.journal.ansfoundation.org ).
For this kind of citation, you do not need to include the website in the list of Reference sections.
Citing a specific page of the entire website
If you are citing a specific page or article from a website, you will need a formal citation in the text and also in the reference list of the Reference section.
For example: (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2021) or Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (2021)

Submission, revisions and publication :
Manuscripts should be submitted online as a Microsoft Word file in a single column format on our website through the submission portal. The manuscript should be in English in Arial (font size 12, space 1.5).
Once the manuscript is submitted online on our website, our editorial team will do an initial assessment of the submitted manuscript to ascertain its eligibility to be sent for review. If the decision is to send the manuscript for review, you will receive a follow-up email with the invoice and a payment link to pay the processing fee. Please see that the manuscript will not be sent for review until the processing fee is paid. It may be noted that the processing fee does not guarantee the acceptance of the manuscript. It will be non-refundable, even if the manuscript is not accepted. Please refer to the Fee and Payment section of our website for the current fee structure.
Authors are also encouraged to provide the names of three referees/reviewers along with the manuscript.
After the payment of the processing fee, the paper is sent for review. The authors are given reasonable time and opportunities to revise the paper to address the comments of the reviewers and editorial team. If the author is unable to revise the manuscript as requested, the manuscript will be rejected. Also, if the revisions are received after more than one year of the requested date of the revision, the manuscript will not be processed further and the authors will be requested to submit the manuscript again and will be treated as a new submission for re-review. Any manuscript that has been dormant for more than a year for any reason will be deleted from our system.
After a thorough review and revision process, if the paper is accepted for publication, then, administrative charges would be charged. Please refer to the Fee and Payment section of our website for the current fee structure.
Also, we don't add/delete authors after the paper has been accepted. It is unethical not to have a correct/honest list of co-authors at the time of the first submission. All persons who have made significant scientific (or “intellectual”) contributions to the work should be co-authors in the submitted version of the paper. We can only change the sequence and correct typos or update affiliation information at this point. However, at the discretion of the Editor-In-Chief, for genuine reasons, the request to change/add the author names.
Post acceptance withdrawal
Withdrawal after acceptance of the manuscript is not a good publication practice since the editorial team, and reviewers put considerable time and effort into the manuscript.
If the author wishes to withdraw the manuscript after the acceptance, 50% of the total administrative fee would be charged as a withdrawal fee to grant withdrawal permission. The author(s) are strongly advised against submitting the manuscript to another journal before you receive a confirmation of withdrawal from the Editor, as this can be considered a duplicate or simultaneous submission.
The decision of the Editor-in-Chief would be final for the acceptance of the manuscript for publication in the journal.
A DOI number is allotted within a month after the paper is accepted for publication.
Proofs :
Galley proofs will be sent to the corresponding author and should be returned within five days of receipt by email. However, on non-receipt of the proof, the care would be taken by the publisher to get the papers corrected and published at the earliest possible.
As part of our Go Green initiative, ANSF has decided not to provide hard copies. This will help us fulfil our environmental commitment to care of the earth for ourselves and generations to come. A secured pdf file of the published research paper/review article would be provided free of cost by e-mail to the corresponding author. Authors will be able to view the manuscript on the journal’s website.
Other contributions
The book reviews/announcements of forthcoming seminars/conferences and their reports/ book reviews/letters to the editors would also be considered by the Editors for publication.
Supplementary Information:
We encourage the inclusion of supplementary information as it enables the research to be transparent, reproducible, and accessible to a wide audience.
The author should follow these guidelines for including supplementary information in a manuscript.
The acceptable supplementary information should be provided in a .zip archive and may include figures, tables, datasets, and technical details. The maximum file size for supplementary information files is 10 MB. If the author wishes to add more, we advise using platforms like FigShare. The supplementary information should be organized and labelled to make it easy for readers to navigate and understand. Citations to supplementary information should be included in the manuscript's main text, and the supplementary information should be referenced like other sources.
The author(s) is responsible for the content or functionality of any supplementary information. Any queries regarding the same should be directed to the corresponding author.
The supplementary information is downloadable from the article's webpage and will not be printed in the print copy.
